Bob Barbiere is the Chief Strategy Officer and SVP of Licensing for Dubset Media, a database and marketplace that manages the claiming, clearance, and administration of recordings for labels and publishers. Barbiere is responsible for all licensing deals and programs, and has now licensed the catalogs of over 25,000 labels and publishers, including Sony Music and Entertainment, Warner Music Group, Merlin, NMPA, Universal Music Publishing Group, and SonyATV. He also leads the company’s corporate strategy concerning partnerships, such as their recently announced one with SoundCloud.
