Devin Dawson is an artist signed to Warner Music Nashville/Atlantic Records. His songs speak the language of a new generation; fans with no use for genre labels. He has a knack for writing razor sharp stories, full of detail and cut straight to the heart. Starting in 2012, Dawson began putting his writing skills to use via authoring songs for other artists. He later started working on his own debut album, “Dark Horse”, where he teamed with Jay Joyce (Eric Church, Little Big Town), a producer as equally daring as himself. The result is 12 songs all co-written by Dawson himself, that make up “… a forward-thinking album that occupies the outermost orbits of country-pop, with songs influenced by R&B's beat and bluster” (Rolling Stone).
