Jill Chapman is the Digital Operations Manager for Amazon Music. In this role, Chapman drives the ongoing operations and catalog management for Amazon Music’s global expansion in more than 35 countries, bringing the music service and its language voice controls powered by Alexa to many countries including Japan, India, Australia and New Zealand. She has built and maintained Amazon’s Digital Music Operations Department, led Amazon’s Digital Music operational expansion into the EU, and has contributed to industry-wide initiatives such as the standardization of metadata in partnership with Digital Music Biz. She has participated in the NARM Digital Think Tank and currently represents Amazon Music on the Board of Directors for Digital Data Exchange (DDEX), an association of industry representatives focused on the standardization of the Digital Supply Chain and enhanced metadata initiatives for voice and search discovery.
