Virginie Berger is the Founder and Managing Partner of DBHT Capital Ventures, a consulting firm for technology and media businesses, specializing in strategy, marketing, and business development. Berger is a managing partner as well for the venture capital fund that focuses on music tech, rights tech, and media tech. She also founded Don’t Believe The Hype, a website designed to help artists understand, evolve, and emancipate inside the current musical environment.

Prior to her role at DBHT, Berger was CEO of Armonia Online, the first pan-European licensing hub for online music. The company covers 131 territories and represents 500,000 authors, composers, and publishers. She also worked as a marketing and content director for Microsoft, NRJ, and Myspace. She is the author of Music and Digital Strategies, a book about digital marketing and the monetization of music online and has written more than 500 articles on the topic.
